Has anyone else received a message via Facebook like this, I'm assuming it's just a spam type thing, but wanted to see if anyone else has received it?

Lately there have been many members complaining that Facebook is becoming very slow. Records shows that the reason is that there are too many non-active Facebook members. And on the other side to many new Facebook members. We will be sending this messages around to see if the members are active or not. If you're active please send to 15 other users using Copy+Paste to show that you are active. Those who do not send this message within 2 weeks will be deleted without hesitation.
Thank You,
Facebook

Sounds like spam to me. I doubt Facebook would need to resort to that to find out which accounts are active/inactive.

Well the poor grammar alone is enough to make me think it's spam.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting a bit irritated about the amount of spam on FB. I got one of those fake messages that my friends was stranded in Europe and needed money (which I knew she was not) and today I got some other fake message (horrible spelling too). You'd think they could secure things up a bit more.
