Book of Me

I saw Amanda's pages in the gallery and a few of you asking about it. (PAGE 1 (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=108651) and PAGE 2 (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=108650&cat=all&limit=last1)) so I thought I would go ahead and post since it was she who inspired me to do it. :) I hope that's ok Amanda! :)

HERE (http://www.scrapbookfantasies.com.au/bookofme/) is the site about the Book of Me project. There are two books now and if you scroll down you will see the links for Book 1 and Book 2 on the right hand column.

I started this after seeing Amanda post at another site and I LOVE it! I find it sooooo inspiring and just really refreshing to scrap about myself and put my own feelings out there a bit ya know? I think as moms/wifes/women we tend to forget ourselves a lot, but remember...we are part of our kids lives and they woudl love to remember some of the things about us too! And we would like to remember too! <3

I really encourage you all to try this! At least a few of the pages ifyou don't want to do a whole book! It's really awesome!

Woot! You totally inspire me! I have loved seeing Amanda's pages, but seeing yours all together like that makes me want to give it a whirl...once I finish up Jack's 2007 album and Max's first year album and...

LOL Kellie! I know....I am behind on albums too *sigh* It's never ending! But even if you don't do the whole book there are awesome prompts and things to get a page or two going if you want! I would love to see a Kellie book! :)

I love to make pages about me! I have several in my sketch book that I just haven't had time to get in pixels, lol. But I would love to have some ideas to add to it.

Thank you so much for the inspiration and for the links, Crystal! I was just thinking about making that book yesterday before I fell asleep - as I saw Amanda's pages in the gallery before. :) I think it would be really great to scrap about me, finally... I just have to get some pictures of me, am quite short of them right now. :)

Btw. Kellie, your sketch book, that's a book for sketches and page ideas? Hmmm, another idea to steal... :)

I am SO inspired to do this! I can just imagine what a treasure it would be for my kids in the future, or grand kids even. I know I would LOVE to have a book about my grandmothers or mom!

What a great idea! I can see using this as a longer term project coordinated with CT kits. Sometimes I just don't have the right event/story to go with a kit, but a page about me might work well.

So I started mine last night and went ahead and made a seperate folder for it and then when I got up this morning it was gone. The whole folder!! I spent like four hours working on two layouts and making a template :-( I still have the resized pages so I can redo them but man I am so upset!!
