So all these gorgeous fall kits are out! with their beautiful leaves and woodsy colors. But here in Texas everything is still green and the kids are still in their summer clothes! And all the winter kits are coming out, too - with all the cute little winter suits and gorgeous winter sceneries...we might get a bit of freezing rain, but that's all we ever get. i keep threatening to scrap a summertime hail storm with a winter kit, LOL!

Please excuse me while I whine:
:crying:I never get to use the cute fall/winter stuff!!:glare:

*SIGH*...I have a bad case of scrap envy.

We JUST started having our fall here in MS...just this week the trees in our yard have exploded with color but our grass is still green and we're all in t's and shorts today.

We had a big snow 2 years ago - the first one in 10 years and I'll probably re-scrap those photos for another 10 years until it snows again lol!

Im right there with you living in the middle of Florida. It doesnt stop me from using the kits though. Here is an example of how I used a fall kit:

I used a picture I found online to scrap the layout.

Yeah you know when a hibiscus' leaves die they turn yellow. I am thinking of getting a photo of that. That is the extent of my fall.

I feel your pain, Becky. It's supposed to be 80 here in Houston tomorrow. I think I'll be scrapping these photos from last December over and over until our next "snow":

haha!! love it!! We usually get one decent snow here, that melts by the evening of the next day. and that's not until jan or feb. i'm not a fan of snow, so even though the kits are cute, i can deal without the snow and miss out on them, or use them in other ways.

As far as fall, our tree is the only one on the street with red/yellow leaves and they have almost all fallen off! I guess I got lucky. :) I use fall kits for the pumpkin patch and all that!

This is exactly why I love visiting family in Alabama and Tennessee for Thanksgiving...that is the only time I get fall pics. Last year the leaves were still all over the ground and while we'll probably never see snow at the that time of year there, one can hope.

We've got about 5" of snow right now. Snowed like crazy all afternoon. My problem is that I've used most of the snow/winter kits in the store and now I'm ready for new ones!!!

This is one of the reasons I do not miss Houston - I love my 4 seasons! While we don't get tons of snow, we get some, but this year the Farmer's Almanac says it will be a bad winter around here. Time to invest in a snow blower...

I have scrap envy too. In AZ, everything is pretty much brown all year long. :glare: And snow? What's that?!

Well, I'm with you *Hi 5*
But my case is worse b/c I have only season and the name is HOT. I have - like what - 3 days of Winter with the thermometers around 60°F. The rest of year around 95-100°F LMAO
We never EVER saw snow and probably never will :crying: :p

Count me in the "no fall" club! As much as I love autumn, I WAY MORE love never being cold!
