UPS just delivered it, luckily in an unmarked box because little ones were standing right by the door, lol. i just put it in the garage for now. but i want to have it put together waiting under, well next to lol, the tree on Christmas morning but i was curious as to how long it takes to put together? i.e. how little sleep will i get on Christmas eve, lol. i usually am the one to put stuff together. i like doing it actually. i can't wait to play with this er..i mean...for the kids to get to play with this :D!

I have the Imaginarium one and think it took maybe just a bit less than 2 hours, if I recall correctly. It wasn't as bad as we expcted it to be.

i think it took my husband about an hour to put it together (not the exact same table but similar) and then 20 minutes to set up the tracks, etc:)

We did it last year after ds went to bed and it didn't take long at all. I am thinking it was about an hour.

if it's the same one we have, my husband had to use an electric screwdriver on it. I'd worry about the noise of assembling it if the kids are there and you are trying to keep it a secret. Plan on assembling it where you will want it set up or you'll need two people to move it... not because it's heavy but because it is bulky.

We got one for our son for Christmas, too! I was thinking about putting it together for him on Christmas Eve, but his dad is weird and said he doesn't want to do it that way? I don't know why but I'll just probably put ours together myself.
I hope it doesn't take any longer than a couple of hours :)

I was thinking it took us a lot longer than 2 hours! LOL! Maybe we're just slow! :p It's by far Wesley's fave toy, though!
