They're Old Navy Plus Low Rise Distressed Boyfriend jeans (in the Weekend jean line) and so amazing! They have the same ones in regular sizes too and my friend, it turns out, also raves about them.

I'm hooked on American Eagle jeans...so expensive but amazing! (Thank God for Plato's closet) I love my boyfriend jeans from AE so I bet the ON bf jeans are just as good.

LOL, me too... recently at a photo shoot my girlfriend (the photographer) wouldn't take any pics from behind because of the sag.

I don't do Black Friday shopping, lol. Although if they have the sale online too, I can handle that.

I prefer American Eagle's boyfriend jeans. I just love the cut of them. Both sizes of my Nautica ones (from the outlet) are now only good for maybe 2 wearings before they get too stretched/baggy. Which sucks cuz I REALLY liked those jeans, and the outlet doesn't always carry them. I don't like skin tight jeans, but I like them to keep things in place, lol.

Thanks on the compliments. I really need to get back into my workouts again before I gain weight back. Now I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into in a few months, so that's the new motivation, lol.

i have a pair from Kohls. they're okay. i tend to wear longer shirts with them. i have a muffin top issue :D

the jeans i have from Aero are skinny flare or bootcut. they aren't skin tight though. a little stretchy but not a lot. love them. i have two pair of the Hailey (http://www.aeropostale.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3538376) skinny flare; one dark one destructed and a pair of the Chelsea (http://www.aeropostale.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3521320) skinny bootcut.

seriously, though, i need to work out. we want to get an elliptical. i will live on that thing, i swear! my midsection is just getting out of control and i'm so self conscious.

From what I just read boyfriend jeans are the opposite of skinny jeans. They're relaxed and with slight bagginess. Which I would sum up as comfortable. :thumbup:

Have you ever seen that cute 25 year old girl at the mall with casual jeans that hang just right, look as great with a cute top as a t, and are the perfect length with all shoes? That's what these jeans are.

In all seriousness, they're loose fitting in the thighs and mildly boot cut.. but they aren't baggy. Since they're supposed to be rolled (ick, which I'm not doing), someone who is in between regular and tall might find them too short. I'm in between petite and regular in length and they were just right.

I've been wearing mostly fairly stiff/heavy dark denim trouser jeans.. and while cute for work.. are not so comfy for hanging out.

Now the only problem is that I really NEED to wear these to work with a cute top and shoes.

Oh, and for plus girls, the back pockets are low, non-bulky, properly-sized and VERY flattering. While the waist does gape a little on my pear shape, they aren't too low rise at all.

Boyfriend jeans do NOT look good on a pear shape...You can buy them and wear them, but you will look sloppy for the most part (unless you are a tiny little pear...which I am not) I've tried them on at several places, and have decided that I want to look like a slob, then they are the jeans for me.

Skinny jeans also don't look great on pear shapes, but...I do have some and wear a longer tunic top or dress with them.

I tried some on today @ JCPenney. They were cute! Not as "destroyed" as those, but definitely a worn look. They were rolled up & would be too short for me unrolled (I'm 5'11"). But, they were much more comfy to me than ON's! But, they were low rise & I just can't stand low rise jeans! If they made midise, I'd buy some in a heartbeat! lol
