I know. I wanted to puke when I saw it. Then I wanted to puke at the absurdity of my obsession, lol.

I was going to see what I need to add to my cart for Black Friday, but nada. That is clearly not the right answer, so i went to my faithful kaboodle and added stuff. I will be ready come Friday.

Guess that just means I just HAVE to spend more time here. :) Maybe I'll find kits I didn't have on there before, too!

That's a great attitude! I'll meet you in the store and we can browse together! :D

Hey chicklets,

I've got a note into our techie guru to see if there is anything he can do about restoring the data in your wishlists. Our databases in the shoppe had to be rebuilt from scratch during our downtime last night - they were in REALLY bad shape which was causing the spontaneous degradation of the store, and ultimately the site as a whole.

Basically, one person would search for something and because our DBs were in such bad shape, that search would slow the site down and everything after it would fail and it just snowballed into a huge problem where the site would crash and burn.

It seems that the database rebuild worked well aside from this wishlist glitch, so while I know it's a pain in the butt to have to window shop again, I am counting my blessings that it wasn't worse, like reinstalling everything for a fresh start and losing all order data, forum & gallery data, etc. and I am crossing my fingers and toes and everything else I can cross that the maintenance last night will do the trick for a long while.

Hopefully, Jason will have good news for me today and will be able to pull that data from somewhere to add it back into your wishlists again.

Thanks for your understanding, I'll keep ya posted : )
Robin

I noticed last night, but honestly my wish list was in such bad shape I was going to clear it and start over anyways.

No worries, Robin! I'd rather lose my wishlist, than not be able to shop at all. Thanks for the update!
