I know there are several of you out there...just wanted to let you know you can get his new album (MP3 download) for $3.99 on Amazon.com. Not sure if it is only for today.

ETA: It looks like they also have their Black Friday sale going already...500 albums for $5 each.

Just listened to the 30 sec samples of that album - err.... i dunno. It's so glamazon : /

That said, it did lead me to Allison's album (wasnt a fan during the show), but listened to her snippets and her album sounds GREAT!

Ya, I am still on the fence about getting it. He was a little bit too much for me on American Idol...I was hoping he would tone it down a little for his album. I do need to find Allison's and check it out...I think I would like her album.

I dunno - I cant put my finger on it - it's like Queen (who I cant stand) meets Xanadu (which I loved) on crack... this one might need to marinate in me a bit.

Can anyone tell me if the mp3s you buy on amazon are DRM protected or if they can be loaded on an ipod or blackberry or burned to disc.

I'm so spoiled by Rhapsody, but you can only listen to Rhapsody via the browser on a Mac (booo hiss) so I think I need to figure something else out soon.

they're not protected...as far as I know. Everything I've ever bought off amazon goes on my ipod and blackberry

It says on the Amazon MP3 page "Music downloads for any device". I have loaded them to various devices and burned to disc with no problem.
