Thought I would share THIS WEBSITE (http://www.boveylee.com/) of a girl that lives in my area (in the same neighborhood as my mom) and she does all these paper cutouts by hand with an x-acto knife!
WOW! I would NEVER be able to do that or have the patience for it!

That is pure insanity. I cutout the title of my latest (well, first too, lol) hybrid layout, and I wanted to die.
I'm guessing rice paper is way easier to cut. Cuz there's no way on EARTH you could get those skinny minnie slivers out of cardstock, lol.

do you know how she does them Megan? I mean does she just cut freehand or print some kind of pattern on them to follow?

also isnt rice paper really thin? I would think handling it it would absorb alot of the oils from your skin.

I think if you click on both the About link and the Studio link on her page it tells you a bit about how she does it. I will have to ask my dad if he asked her any specifics.

and what you use them for?
Each one she creates is then framed so it's basically just artwork to hang.

Very amazing work! I bet though in a weird way it could be relaxing. For a certain type of person.
