Woo!! This is one smokin' hot call ladies and we can't wait to hear from the amazing array of talented scrapbookers in the community. Our team of designers is absolutely incredible and while we're keeping our newest chicklets under wraps, we can promise that you're going to love working with their designs should you be invited to join the team.

We *DO* expect a lot from our SugarBabes, so please keep that in mind when applying. We're really looking scrapbookers who love the Sweet Shoppe and who want to be involved in what we do - this could include hosting a challenge periodically or on a regular basis, posting on our blog and other special projects which come up from time to time in addition to your 3 regularly scheduled assignments. If you dont have time to really be a part of the behind the scenes aspect of SSD, this may not be the position for you.

This is a short term call with a deadline of Sunday, October 21st - so if you're interested in joining the sweetest spot in the community, get those applications sent to admin@sweetshoppedesigns.com (admin@sweetshoppedesigns.com) right away! Confirmation emails will be sent when we recieve your application and invitiations to join the team will be sent no later than Wednesday, October 24th.

Well, I just got my email and I didn't make it. :( But thats really OK because there 143 applicants which means that I had basically ZERO chance of making it, what with all the amazing talent here. And Julie really gave me hope when she said that it took her a few calls to become a babe. Hope is not lost!!

Awww, thanks Aggie. That really does make me feel better. I've got pretty tough skin, so this isn't too heartbreaking for me. But I cannot imagine the excitement from the girls that made it! Its such an coveted spot, that its a true honor to be picked. :)

Yeah, I actually ended up applying, but knew I didn't have a chance, and didn't make it. But that's ok, I know I have a way to go. I plan to take the next few months and get myself where I really want to be with my scrapping and try again. I just love this place, and can't imagine another gig I'd like more!
