I just found this blog (mentioned on Cathy Zielske's blog) that has tons of low cal/low fat recipes. She calculates the points for each recipe which is crazy helpful...and the food photography looks awesome. Thought I would post it here for us WW ladies that need more recipe ideas.

Really thinking about joining WW online again...I lost 60 pounds about 6 years ago..and kept them off until I stopped smoking last year. I gained about 30 pounds back and I still had 30 pounds or so to go before I met my goal so I have a bit of work to do. This site looks awesome..thanks so much for sharing it.

This is probably a silly question ... but what is a check in buddy? Just someone to help keep you on track?

when i did the first time pre-kids, i would check in each week w/ a girl i worked w/ who was like a WW pro (and had met goal)... so we'd just do lunch, chit chat, weigh in and then talk about what was hard/working/not working, etc.

basically it's just someone who you have to be accountable to... it's easy to lie to yourself ;)

What a cool idea...I think DH and I are gonna try it together (he also had weight gain when we quit smoking). Hoping that will make it go easier than when it was just me on WW and he was eating whatever he wanted...lol.

Thanks. Some of those even look like things my kids would eat!

Wahoo! Thanks! I need some new recipes. I am so bored with my food lately.

I joined in August, too. 10 pounds left to be pre-pregnancy (yes, he's 3.5, but still...lol).

Thanks so much for sharing this, Susan! I’ve followed Gina’s WW recipes for years — her point calculations and portion-friendly ideas are a lifesaver, especially when you're trying to stay on track and feed a family.

I’ve also been collecting Weight Watchers-friendly menu ideas and recently started putting together breakdowns of some Mexican Food options of El Pollo Loco Menu (https://elpollolocomenuprices.com/) (like El Pollo Loco Chicken Family Meals) for those days when cooking isn’t in the cards. If anyone else here juggles WW with busy evenings or picky eaters, I’d love to swap links or ideas!

Yes, I love this site and have been making recipes from Skinny Taste for a couple of years. I am a WW member, but I am not liking the pathway they are taking. However, I am nearing the end of this phase of my journey and will continue with the membership for the moment.
