A little back story...my two youngest cats are semi-feral due to the fact that I was in the middle of a crisis with their older sister when they were born and they were not supposed to stay...so I didn't handle them much when they were young. Now it is 6 1/2 years later and they are a bit friendlier, but not so good at being picked up.

Today my little girl kitty, Ariadne, has a vet appointment to get spayed and I have to put her in the cat carrier. she's on the pill for 6 years but with us going to US later this year I didn't want to leave the sitter with the problem of giving her a pill every week. DF is usually here for vet appointments, but, alas, he is in the UK and I have to do this on my own. Do you see where this is going? Picture lots of scratches and probably a bloody stump or two. Putting the cone on her will be interesting too!:thumbdown:

Thankfully DF will be here tomorrow to put her back in the carrier for her after surgery check-up.

Thanks girls!

LOL I wish that were possible, but no such luck...I got her in though, BUT we'll be repairing the back door tomorrow:thumbdown:...she ripped the cat door plumb out!!!!

Once I explained that to our vet he decided to keep her overnight and to put inside stitches in her so that we don't have to bring her back tomorrow or to have stitches removed.

I had a cat like that so I am feeling for ya.
Try throwing a towel over her and grabbing her super fast
and putting her in the carrier. It might save
ya some personal injury.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

LOL she'd be gone the second I threw the towel...She's really quite sweet on her own terms and will even crawl in my lap most days...but not so big on beong picked up or carried. Once she saw the carrier she would freak out if I even touched her this morning.

I feel so bad for her...was and interesting morning needless to say.
