Brushes on your pages? I don't know if this question has been asked recently, but I thought I would throw it out there. Do you use them on your photos, backgrounds, or what? I see them in kits alot but aren't quite sure what to use them for. Do you have a great page you can share that used brushes? I would love to have some inspiration on brushes! Thanks!

I don't have any using SSD products with brushes used in other ways so I won't post the picture but here is one:

The main way I use them though is as a way to grunge up spots on a paper or photo.

i love brushes! i use them mostly under photos, but some (very occasionally) i'll use on top of a photo.
here is used penny's bubble wrap behind a photo for a pop of color:

here i used lauren r's bruches really big for another pop of color

on one of cindy's templates, i used a stamp from a kit to put butterflies over a photo. i actually cut out the butterflies and played with opacity. it was part of a larger embellie.:

here i used penny's large hearts:

and here are some more lauren's brushes to highlight areas:

I use them like stamps! I was a stamping consultant before going digi so I love brushes! Here's a layout I did using a photo-stamp I made from a photo of my nephew:

Here's another photo stamp page:

I also like to spotlight with a little paint, use coffee stains, and otherwise grunge up my pages with brushes. Lots of things you can do with them! HTH!

I like to clip paper to the mask-y type brushes

For alpha stamps, I put it directly on the paper...no shadow, but I do sometimes "cut" it if it overlaps different dimensions to give a more realistic look.
