Ok, so I did the purge thing last weekend. I got rid of about 20gigs off my hard drive. And as luck would have it... my first LO I do after the purge requires an element I know through away last week.
So frustrating... and to think I thought its a good idea to do this every 3-6 months or so. To top it all off; I blew used my entire scrap budget this morning so I can't even go and buy it:glare:

Ugh, how annoying. It's something that would totally happen to me if I got rid of any kits.

that does suck. Did you still have the zip file or did you purchase it recently? Maybe the designer/store would have been willing to reset the link?

I bought it here. I don't know the name of the kit, which was why I deleted it. the file names did not have the kit name in it

Lol, that's why I have yet to delete kits. I just move ones I don't use as often to my other (less portable) hard drive.

Yeah,I did that once, that's why my purging means that I just take off the EHD I'm using and move it to my "vault" EHD.

Ya, I'm the same as previous poster. I just move it to a different EHD than I normally work off.

I back-up my kits to my external hard drive and burn to disk. I save the previews on my computer in folders by designer. I could never throw away any of the kits...I get too attached. If I like them there is a reason! Purge? What is purge?
