So today I was out hanging laundry and we have this broken board on the deck RIGHT beside the laundry line. Not looking where I was going I put my foot down and fell right in!!
THANK GOODNESS there is a support beam about 6 inches down below because I stepped on that, which totally saved me from killing myself. My deck is about 15 inches up from the ground, so if I had fallen all the way through I most likely would have twisted my ankle & jacked up my knee (I have weak ligaments - I've dislocated it at least 6 times - SUPER painful).
I've been asking DH to fix that blinking board for 2 years. He says he'll do it. Then never does... I'm totally afraid of DD falling in... a 2 year old falling in would be a very, very bad thing.
