Are you ok with someone else using your handwriting on their pages? If so, go with custom. If not, then premiere. It freaked me out to have my writting on someone else's pages so I paid to not have it. My mom said she didn't mind, so I didn't pay the extra for hers.

I did custom. Darcy ended up using mine for her store and while it's kind of freaky to look at a random layout that you "wrote" on, it's kind of fun at the same time. :)

With a custom font, there is a chance that your font will be used in a package or for marketing or for advertising.

If you are uncomfortable with that idea, then go to the premiere version. If you don't care, but would like the name changed, just let me know and I'll change the name.

that was still the best giftie for my 14 year old neice! she loved it!

Hoping now to get DD to do a super-pretty handwriting one for her wedding invites and thank you cards.

I went with just the custom- I don't care if my font is on other people's pages (heck, it may even be pretty cool... lol).

I was just so excited to buy the font! My illness is making it increasingly hard to hand-write, and as an avid pen-paller and scrapper, I hate not having that personal touch!

So this was a GREAT deal :)

I'm still hoping to talk DH into doing his handwriting before tomorrow. :D

I didn't like the idea of anyone who wanted it having my handwriting, so I went with premiere. I'll probably do my son's once he's a little older, but since he's so young and his handwriting will change I'll go with custom for him. I'm also debating getting a cursive font in the sale. For that I'll probably go with custom but ask Darcy to change my name, now that I know that's an option. I don't write in cursive that often, so it won't freak me out the way seeing my print handwriting on other people's pages would.

NOT because I'm trying to talk you into this....but from experience :)

I did my son's when he was six because I wanted to capture that new writer cuteness...with the wonky letters and such. I'm so glad I did it. I'll end up doing it again now that he's older, but I love having his itty boy writing - it's so cute LOL

I'm about to do my 2nd son's writing for the same reason - I can already see it starting to mature a little, so I want to capture the wee writer look before it's gone.

I think I'm going to do this for my son too. :) I just got mine in custom and it was kinda cool seeing it pop up on other people's pages. I don't think you can go wrong either way- and Darcy answered all of my silly questions, helped me tweak something specific too. :)

I got the premiere, I didn't want others to write on their pages with "my" writing. It was weird to me LOL :D

I want to do my (9 year old) brother's, but he refuses.
