Nashville is bad. DH has a friend that's stuck on the interstate now and can't get through the city. I'm just a couple hours west of them in Jackson and it was bad here yesterday. We're on a hill but many in our county were stranded and had to be saved by boats. We couldn't get far in either direction on our road yesterday; haven't tried yet today. Even churches have canceled for today. Memphis is really bad too. We got over 12 inches of rain yesterday alone. Please keep the entire state of Tennessee in your prayers!

We've had a lot of rain here in Southeast Missouri too in the last few days....it seems to rain on the weekends and be sunny during the week. How do we get yard work done?

Southwestern Kentucky is getting slammed too. We've got some flooding going on, had 10" of rain yesterday and it's raining all day today as well. Several friends went down to Nashville yesterday for the Jimmy Buffet concert and are stranded. This weather is just crazy.

I'm just north of Memphis we've had tornado sirens watches and warnings on and off since Friday night and its not supposed to get better until sometime tomorrow. Most of our roads are flooded, my yard is flooded. We had several funnel clouds last night reported near us but thank God none touched down. Our schools are shut down tomorrow because of all the flooding on the back roads and such. I was up most of last night listening to the weather. It was not fun.

Are you in Arkansas? I just talked to Tracey and they have it bad too...a couple tornadoes and such but her and her family is safe. Thank goodness!

We are ok but there is just pure devastation all around us. We have a house that was just about to sell in one of the areas that is flooding bad and we can't find any info on it yet:(. The place we just moved from was just shown on the news and there are people in boats floating down the roads. It's so sad. Where we live now is up high so no floooding here but about 5 minutes away a house just got flooded and it is still raining. Just pray that all this rain will stop. It's so sad!!!! Thanks for checking on us!

This is the house that's about 5 minutes from our house but they are right in the hollow where the dam is and it's really starting to rise:blink:.

My inlaws are about an hour north of Nashville, right over the Ky border, and they said they've gotten about 10", many of the roads around town are flooded out, and they're pretty stranded in their subdivision, but save. Their yard is washing away, because they're about halfway down the hill, so while they won't be flooded, all flow is coming at them from the hilltops.

Oh, I am so sorry!!! I am glad to hear you're safe. I know Antioch was one of the worst hit places.
