NSBR: Shoes

I was watching Four Weddings today on TLC that I taped the other night and I saw one of the brides covering her heels with swarovski crystals. She covered the entire heel...toe to heel. And I LOVED them. They didn't go into depth on how she was doing them, just that that was her "secret weapon".

I'm not sure what kind of heel she used, i.e. paten leather, real leather, cloth, plastic. And I don't know what kind of glue she used.

That's what I'm wondering...what type of heel you'd use, what type of glue to hold the crystal's on? I know the crystal's were 'flatback' so they'd lay flush on the heel.

Anyone have any ideas? I really want to do this.


I should add that I did find a tutorial on instructables.com...but I figured I'd ask around here too.

Not that I know *anything* about this, but my first thought was to use ES6000 glue. That stuff will stick poo in mid-air :thumbup: It's a VERY strong adhesive. The shoes sound beautiful, make sure to take pics if you do this!
