Alrighty I need some advice and you ladies here are great for that :)
Here's the lowdown...
Moving to the other side of the country and currently job hunting - hoping to have something lined up BEFORE I get there (wishful thinking?)... so I have put in my resume that I will move in July regardless but am able to move sooner if the job requires.

Does this come across as needy? I've had a few rejections so far (yay automated emails saying I suck, lol) and was just wondering if you guys had any advice.

Hanging in there, staying positive, but it is getting hard.

I dont think it sounds needy at all! What part of Tassie are you moving to again? It also depends on what type of job your looking for? Some people want someone to start straight away and being as your not moving till July that might seem like way to long to wait to hire someone IYKWIM?

Yeah that's what I figured so I'm just sort of deleting them and forgetting about them. It just sucks because I know I would have done a kick-arse job at some of these places... if only I had the opportunity to be there and be interviewed immediately ya know? :)

I'm mainly applying for office and retail jobs - as I have 1.5 years experience in both. Oh and I'm moving to Launceston.

Yeah thats always the hardest thing! I wonder if you could apply for them, and if you get to the next stage of interviewing you could do it via conference call or something. I know some places might do that for you. I dont know much about jobs around Launceston, I know more for Hobart area!
