Rain Rain Go Away...Come back after Thursday!

You all have been around hearing about our robotics team ... well we could use some "dry weather wishes" for Thursday morning!!! Here is what our robotics team has been invited to participate in ...

We will be in the Science area outside the stadium with NASA!!! We were invited to be a part of this and are very honored!

We just need some dry weather (or no more than a few light sprinkles) ... as you would imagine our robot is not made for inclement weather! ...our display booth is also not made for rain... so we could use some "dry wishing" for Thursday!

We can use all the wishes we can gather.... but isn't this invitation to participate exciting?!?! :thumbup:

TOO COOL! I knew that the School Day at the K was coming up, but I'd never been to one. That's awesome that you guys were invited to participate. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for us to get dry dry dry weather! :D

I went in 2008 and it was so cool to learn about weather in this fashion ... they had some great experiments and heard lots of ooohhhs and aaaaahhhs from the kids. The people were very friendly and the kids got pictures with the meterologists.

Just hoping hoping hoping that the rain moves out of the area before 8am Thursday morning!

well it's 12:08 a.m. and I'm not asleep...supposed to be...have to get up in 5 hours and get ready for School Day at the K with our robotics team...it is thundering, lightning, and pouring ... I just hope it gets it out of the system in time for us to set up tomorrow morning!!...I mean THIS morning!

Ok...going to go change the time on my coffee pot so it is ready by 5 a.m. ... something tells me I am REALLY going to need it!

Wish us luck Thursday ... that we end up with a dry morning and a great display of our robot and newly built display booth!

It poured this morning...but it cleared up and we got in our display ... we got the booth finished just as children were pouring from the stadium to come see the display!! whew! Thanks for the DRY WISHES ... they did end up working!

I'm exhausted ... we stayed for the game ... but I'm just wiped out. Will catch up with you all later!
