Hi gals,

Thought I would share one of my projects with you. My son (age 3) always comes home with lots of artwork from preschool. I wanted to come up with a 'thank you' gift for his teachers that would feature his artwork with my digi scrapbooking.

So I decided to make a set of notecards for each teacher with his artwork as the main focus. I've been designing card fronts that are 4x5.25 inches. I'll print it on 4x6 photos (I don't have a printer at home...need to use the photo printing place) trim it and then adhere it to a blank notecard (4.25x5.5) to make the card. I'll put them all in a pretty box for their gift. So far I have about 8 designed in various themes: thanksgiving, valentines day, winter holiday, etc...

Here's one I just did with the new kit 'Sing a Rainbow' by Misty Cato:

Thanks for looking!

Cute idea!!!! Im probably going to make the post it note/clipboard idea HERE (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=114277&ppuser=8076), I just think those are really cute. I already have a hybrid coin purse I made for the teachers earlier in the year, actually it was supposed to be a Christmas gift for them, but Artscow screwed that all up  So, I'll do the coin purse, the clipboard and then I have a teacher teddy bear for each of them. Nothing terribly fancy here.
