Question About All Those Blinkies

Okay. So everytime I see someone's signature, below it are all these blinkies...creating for, or designing for, or part of so and so's crew...

How'd y'all begin creating for all those designers? What are the perks? What is the process to get started?

Just curious. Maybe one day I can have a blinkie too. :blink:

Lookout for calls in the forums from designers saying they are having a creative team call. Follow the guidelines and send them what they want to see then cross your fingers and hope your style is what they want. Good luck!

Also, become active in the forums and continue putting your best foot forward in the galleries and improving as a scrapper. Some designers don't do calls but instead just ask scrappers whose style they like and that they have noticed in the galleries to become part of their teams. That is the way I got on my first two teams. And boy, what a rush when you get that PM! :)

The main perk of a CT of course, is that you get the designer's new releases to work with prior to release and for free in return for creating pages with it and promoting it around the forum and community (sneak peek threads, galleries, ISO threads, etc.) Some designers also have blogs that CT members help maintain throughout the month and most have minimum requirements that their CT members have to meet each month. :)

either apply to any calls you may see or rock so hard that they NEED you on their team :) i am on a handful of teams (2 here at ssd) and although sometimes i feel overwhelmed, it helps me stay on track with scrapping my pages regularly. :)
