Signature Questions?

Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to make a cool signature? Seems everyone has really cute signatures around here and I want to fit in! Would really like to do a facebook button like some of you have and maybe a link to my blog. However I noticed you are unable to use Html - so anyhoo how did you all make yours? Would love some advice or a link to a thread to help me out.

you will insert your image into your post and use the link button to link it to your fb, twitter and blog :) the 'insert link' icon is the earth with a little link thingie on it ;) i am known for being oh so technical ;)

i just upload to photobucket and then use the bbcode...it starts with [img]
