I tend to love all books by Kristin Hannah and Nicholas Sparks. I read those really fast.
Favs of K. Hannah..... (love them all but these are my favs)
True Colors
Firefly Lane
Magic Hour
Winter Garden
Favs of N. Sparks....(again...love them all but these are my top 4)
Last Song
Dear John
A Walk to Remember
The Notebook
I also liked Danced Upon the Air by Nora Roberts. Also, love the Sookie series if you are into vampire romance or Twilight if you haven't already read that. Also if you are into Christian fiction....Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers and The Shack are both exceptional!

Also I think A Walk to Remember was so much better as a movie. I loved the book but the movie was just so sweet and I think well cast. I really like Mandy Moore in the lead role

The Stephanie Plum series be Janet Evanovich! So funny! I've read ALL of them and I can't wait for more!
Diana Gabaldon has the Outlander series that's really nice, too.

I really enjoyed them too. They easy to read, but not total fluff.
Meg Cabot's Heather Wells Mysteries (http://www.megcabot.com/size12/index.php) are pretty fun too.

Just got done reading "The Icing on the Cupcake" by Jennifer Ross- it's SO cute! It's about this southern girl who is not very nice, and her fiance calls off their engagement, so she moves to New York to meet, and live with, her grandmother. Her grandmother says "Get a job within 8 weeks, or go home." But... she never intended on working, and doesn't really know how to do anything well, except bake cupcakes.
It's a sweet novel. No pun intended, plus, there's a lot of recipes in there that I'm itching to try!
I've also been reading the "Sisters, Ink" series lately... it's about a family of four adopted girls (all in the 25+ age range, I think)-- about their lives, and how sometimes, all you need is a (paper) scrapping session to get back on track. My grandma got the first one from a friend but wasn't really interested in it, so passed it to me, and the second one I found at the Christian bookstore.

Another author I really loved was V.C. Andrews but well she died before all her books were finished so they hired an author and I dont think she wrote as well as V.C. Andrews did. I think I have read most of the series. I think the Flowers in the Attic & the Heaven series are the best of them all. Although I did really like the one about the girl who was adopted by a poor family who's real family was very rich and lived in New Orleans. I cannot think of the series now. It was pretty good.

Oh, I am going to Amazon to look your suggestions up! They both sound like something I would like to read! I love reading book suggestion threads! It makes the book nerd in me all giddy inside! :)

I just got the first one on my Kindle since I'd heard this series mentioned so much in this forum. OMG - I'm so hooked!! LOVED it! This is bad, though, 'cause aren't there like 14 of them or something? I'm the kind of person who gets really hooked and does nothing else until I've finished the whole series! :)
