I'm scraphappydawn but I still don't know how everyone stays so active on twitter. I'm a geek at heart and I want to be active and be in the know with twitter but I just can't seem to stay caught up! LOL I log on and read everything and then 5 minutes later, there are 100 new tweets! OMG......how do y'all have the time to do that much??? LOL Please school me on the art of tweeting!!! hehehehehe

LOL Jen......I have tweetdeck also. I have it on my iPhone and my laptop. I never open it up on my laptop. Maybe that is what my problem is! Need to keep it open on my laptop so that I get notifications when someone has tweeted something. Might give that a try!

Yes - TweetDeck is the key. And, if you are on a Mac, set up Growl notifications. I love my Growl notifications. :)

I'm terrible at explaining stuff like this, so bear with me. :)

Growl displays a small notification in the corner of your screen. You can set up notifications for all sort of things. I get notified when one of my friends updates their facebook status, or when someone I'm following on twitter tweets. The window just displays for a few seconds and then disappears, so you can ignore it if you want to. It just makes it so you're notified of events when they happen, and you don't have to switch to a different application to check on stuff all the time. You configure Growl settings from System Preferences, and it's very customizable. I'm sure I don't use all the tools that are available in Growl, but I still love it.
