I LOVE these kinds of flowers and I really want to learn how to make them myself. They are so pretty! Anyone know how to make them/know of a tutorial?

oh...I saw that somewhere. I think you just cut them into circles and burn the edges (and a little bit in the middle for more texture) and then sew them together. It looked super easy. I have no idea where I saw it though.

I just tried it out because I've been wanting to cut up some old pajamas and make these anyway. Here's what I've got so far:

It's super easy, and I even free-handed the circles. I also googled and found this tutorial (http://madmim.com/tutorials/fabric-flower-tutorial-6-the-burnt-edges-circle-flower/).
The pajamas are polyester (hooray for Christmas Pajamas), but it looks like you could do it with almost anything. Good luck, and thanks for reminded me that I wanted to do this. Now I've just got to wait for the babe to get up so I can get my needles and thread out. For some reason DH thought that the baby's closet would be a good place for my craft supplies.

Wonder what he'd think if you put his tools in there & your craft stuff where you could get to it more often & without disturbing the babes! LOL

Wow, that does look easy. I am almost tempted to try it and I am such a digi babe. Hmm, big temptation though, my sister LOVES those.
Yours looks super cute, Megan!

That lady does some great flower clips, and she's local, in Thatcher. :) She sells in Safford at some of the shops, too.

YAY! These were SO easy! I love them! :D Just had to be careful not to burn my fingers when I was working on the small circles. hehe
