I started a layout late last night. Got the background in place. Plopped the pictures where I wanted them, made a title, started adding some embellies, then... NOTHING! I drew a blank, so I went to sleep. Started playing with the layout this morning again, but had no idea where to go with it. So I changed strategies and opened up on of Cindy's templates that I thought would be perfect. Got the background papers in place, clipped the photos into position, took care of some of the matting, then... NOTHING! BAH!

Any suggestions? Should I just abandon these photos right now and go scrap something else? It's not that I'm not in the mood to scrap... I am. I just seem to be having major scrapper's block. What to do?!

I have the most fickle mojo ever. It comes, it goes, without any warning. When I'm in a slump, I usually just don't scrap at all. I stress out too much, nothing goes right, then I usually go insane and quit all my CTs LOL. So the past few months, I just leave it, and come back when I'm feeling more creative. Sometimes it's just a few days, sometimes weeks.

Many people will suggest templates or scraplifting, and you could always try different pictures. I hope it doesn't stay away too long!

For me that means time to take a break. I usually try to take fresh pictures that week. Sometimes I just need a break.

Oh no! Maybe try a new kit with a different set of photos!! Sometimes that works! I've got a layout that's just not coming together as I've hoped - and I've been working on it for half the week. It's got the cutest photos too. I don't know what to do!!!!! Grrrrrr. Good luck!!!

OK, what I ended up doing was going to the shoppe and looking at the page for the kit I used so I could see some of the layouts that were done with it. That was enough I kickstart me! I stayed with Cindy's template because I really liked the design of it for this layout. Here it is (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=143491&ppuser=7037), and thanks for everyone's suggestions!
