So I'm using one of Cindy's fab templates. But I flipped it horizontally. The problem with this is that there's a text/journaling layer that follows the shape of a bracket. So when I flip it, the text is backwards. I tried to create a new work path from the existing text box, but it only selects/follows the actual words and letters, not the path that I need.

Help? I'm not sure what to do to get my text to go the write way now.

ETA: I use CS2 and it's template #2 from Cindy's set #33, if that helps at all.

Maybe this will help? It is a tutorial for creating your own shaped text:

Sorry, that may not help. If the bracket is symmetrical, would it help to go back to the original template and duplicate that layer and use that or keep that layer out when you flip the template?

Thanks Robin. Not exactly, but I think it helped me stumble upon a way to make it work, LOL! I selected the bracket paper, then using the rectangular marquee tool I click on the "intersect with selection" option in the toolbar.

I love text on a path, but I have so much trouble with it!
