Ok I've searched the forums and I cannot find a thread that covers this (I'm sure there is 10).

I am preparing to make a photobook for my parents for Christmas (go me!) and I have quite a few of Janet's two-page LOs that I want to print. I have Wendy Z's photobook action for Shutterfly...but I don't want my LOs to have a big border edge. I know this is for safety sake in printing and cutting but I love the clean look of Janet's templates and adding another border just bugs me. So can I just use the action, then bump my LO image back up to the line? Anyone know what I mean? LOL sorry um....http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v712/sprauncey1/Capture.jpg
see the first set of lines, not the second where it is resized now?

This is partly why I print my own, I get what I see. That and I don't scrap chronologically so I'd never print! For my parents...they can deal with the LOs out of order somewhat.

I haven't used Wendy's actions yet, but I'd suggest to simply strech the background paper to the size shown, so only that will get cut, but you don't have white lines. This will reduce the resolution of the bg slightly, but I am sure it would still be fine.

And in this case of course you have to figure out what to do with the ribbon.

Well this is on the flattened file not the layered one, there is no way I am going to hunt down all those layered files (if they exist anymore). So I pretty much have to stretch the whole thing or none at all. So the ribbon is coming no matter what.

But when I do stretch it (or un-shrink it since it starts out as 12x12 and I'm going to 8x8) I look and nothing is between the two sets of lines that is important and can't be cut off some.

I looked up other posts on Janet's templates and they all seem to be geared for printing at home or individually and then placed in albums, not bound book style.
