bed rest is killing my "kit budget" this month

My OB put me on best rest until he can see me again on Tuesday.. So I'm been sitting here on my little net book just looking at everything the store has to offer..... Yesterday I think I spent $15 on a kit & a few "extras" [fonts/stitches/alphas] from my wishlist. Today I spent $14 on new releases.

My husband went online to our bank account and got a bit mad when he saw 5 different paypal charges for the store........ Not including the one I just did today.........

The thing thats now killing me is i can't actually scrap until I get on my desk top. Maybe I can talk DH Into bring it into the bedroom so I can lay in bed and scrap?

Oh and the $100 visa gift card my grandma sent me for my birthday? Yeah its gone........ I spent about $60 here & then bought some itunes music I can play while I scrap. Then the rest when onto printing out some pages in a book......

So can the designers PLEASE stop designing such wonderful stuff? Really? Can you all take a break for a week? :) [no please really dont!!! ]

LOL, I hear ya. I haven't bought anything yet but I've been mentally preparing DH for the charge that will hit when I get my SR. :-)

I hope you're released from bedrest soon. WHen are you due?

Thanks. I'm due October 30th... A long waaaay off. Hopefully this is just a one time deal and as long as I keep it easy I can get up. But my cervix is thinning out already and its making my OB nervous.

My friend went through this. Twice.

Both times she ended up on bed rest for the long haul. Have your DH bring your desktop to you. It will help pass the time.

Thanks. I didn't have to do bed rest with my son or daugher so its all new to us. Today is day two and I'm already stir crazy. Baby has kept their gender a secret from us.

So sorry that you are on bed rest!!!!! I have been there. Went in from 26 weeks until 34 weeks. Take it easy and take care of yourself. It might be a good idea to ask your DH if he can move the computer or put the program on the laptop so you can scrap in bed. Take it easy.

I was on bed rest for about a week each time, with my first two pregnancies. I almost went nuts, I have no idea how people do it for extended periods of time. But of course you have to! Get your DH to move your computer to your bed somehow, so you can scrap and try to catch up on some projects (photo organizing, etc).
