NSBR: Twitter Question

So my SIL called me yesterday asking about twitter. Apparently she needs to use twitter for one of her classes (she's in college). They are going to be using it DURING classes. She doesn't have a phone that uses applications, but you can text your tweets to a certain number and it'll post them.

My question being, she has unlimited texting, this would be included in that right? I assume yes, but I was curious if anyone uses twitter without an app and could verify for me. She just doesn't want to have to drag her laptop to class if she can text from her phone.

I think the twitter texting would be included in unlimited texting. Geez, what if you were in that class and didn't have a way to text? :confused:

You'd either have to bring your laptop to class, or you're screwed, LOL!
It's some sort of media class, IDK. She didn't give me details.

Well I used to update my fb via texting, so I'm gonna assume that it's the same? It was just always included in my texting package :)

oohh she should just splurge and get an itouch :P if the school has wifi she could login that way.. and when her classes are boring she could play games.. i mean no.. study and stuff.. lol

My twitter texting was included with my unlimited messaging, BUT, I hated tweeting from my phone so I quit. lol

Thanks guys. I couldn't think of a reason that it wouldn't be covered by the unlimited, I just didn't want to tell her it was ok and then have her Dad get slammed with a huge bill or something, LOL!

yeah, I used to tweet byy text from my old phone. It was why I ended up adding unlimited texting to my phone. Now I have an app for that & removed the unlimited texting since I only texted or got texts from twitter
