Off to pre-K today

Ava is off to meet her teacher today, Thursday is her first official day :)
She is nervous, she misses her preschool...but I know she will do just fine. Me on the other hand, will be fighting back tears for sure on Thursday!

Aww, good luck Ava and Jenn! I was a sobbing wreck this time last year. I'm hoping for a smoother ride as Lizzie goes into yr 1 (not sure how that equates - she's the youngest in her year, just turned 5 a couple of days ago and is starting her second year of 'proper' school). She's a bit nervous and is going to miss her teacher from last year too.

She was really worried that she was going to have to work really hard and not get to do any colouring or glueing... I think I persuaded her by showing her all the pictures in the windows as we passed school earlier!

So today was her first real day of school. The second the bus doors closed, I started bawling. Have a great first day Miss Ava!
