There. I said it. I know they're the new 'green' way of keeping a house clean and not using paper towels. But because I have fingers that are always a bit rough (hangnails...a bit of psoriasis on the ends of a couple of my fingers - thanks for sharing that, mom), those towels are ALWAYS catching on my fingers, and it feels icky!

Just like the fake satin fabric from the 70's that nightgowns and underwear were made from..ugh..I hated having to fold that stuff from the laundry.

What are some icky texture things for you?

Same here Darcy!

Another texture thing for me is velvet. I cannot stand touching velvet. It gives me chills just thinking about it!

Wool. Those icky scratchy, green military blankets are the worst.

I adore my microfiber cloths! The ones I have are nice and thick and I can use them from everything from washing the car to cleaning the windows and mirrors (with just water) to cleaning the inside of the microwave - and so much more! They're smooth on one side and a bit textured on the other. Maybe it's the weave, but they don't catch on my skin and I have the same issues you have, Darcy.

The texture I can't stand is raw meat. Maybe because it's cold as well as being a bit slimy. Ugh!!

to watch someone take their mittens/gloves off with their teeth is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I don't even like to THINK about it.

I can't stand to touch things like wooden spoons or popsicle sticks. It's giving me the willies to even think about touching wood right now. Ick.

Ditto, and the torture of having to use them

I can't do raw fish, don't like any raw meat really... only with fork and knife will I touch it.

Cold dish water (after washing dishes) or you let that last one soak or something.... ughghghhhh... I'll get a clean fork out to let the water out instead of putting my hands in it. Same goes with mop water.

I don't mind touching those, but when you are eating a popsicle and you bite the stick. Ugh.

If my dude uses a towel to wipe up the floor or something else, I will not touch it. Even if the floor is sparkling clean. I just cannot stand touching a wet towel that has been used on something other than our bodies. Weird?

Aluminum cans. I almost can't drink canned sodas b/c if the aluminum scrapes against my teeth it gives me the willies. *shudder*
