Home videos: what have you done with yours?

I had VHS tapes from 1994 on transferred to DVDs through an online service. I actually used two different companies (for two different groups of tapes), but now I'm wondering what kind of DVDs were used. They don't have a name on them; only the name of the company and the dates of each one are marked on the DVDs. I don't know if I should transfer them all again to new DVDs myself??

I don't see why it would matter what brand of DVD it was...am I missing something? It seems like a lot of extra work for not much reward.

Good point. I honestly don't know if the brand makes a difference -- I've heard different things about that.
