Sorry - uber-excited. I grew up in Dallas..and the TX Rangers are my home team. They've never made it past the first round of the playoffs, most often losing to the Yankees the last few times we've even made it.

Come 2010....not only have we progressed past the first round.....we're 3 outs from going to the WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of hooping and hollering going on in DFW/Texas tonight!

We're watching & rooting for Texas as well. Them and the Giants. ;)

We have missed most of this game since we were out running errands but we have been keeping up on ESPN gamecast on our iPhone. Im uber-excited about the Rangers too! Yankees are going DOWN!!!!!

wooot woot! I used to be a yankees fan before I lived in the DFW area. Now it's Rangers all the wayyyyyyy baby!!!

A lot of my family is from DFW & they are HUGE Rangers fans & freaking out right now!!! Wish my Papa was still around to see it...he'd be SO proud of those boys! :)

Since my RedSox didn't have a good season I am now rooting for the Rangers. I watched all of the games and even wore my "anti-Yankee" voodoo clothes (a redsox jersey). Figured it sometimes helps to wear it when the Sox are playing the Yankees -- it might help the Rangers, too. :)

Super excited about the Rangers going to the WS. I am gonna even go out and get myself a ballcap so that I can root in style! :)

Congrats to the Rangers. They really did an awesome job!

WOOOOHOOOOOO for the Giants!! Some hootin' and hollerin' was going on! Of course my family are all Giants fans (grew up in the Bay Area) and even my brothers in law up in Alaska are HUGE fans.

I'll be rooting for the Giants! It's going to be a great World Series (especially since the Yankees won't be in it)
