ce & my plans for halloween avoidance were supposed to be dinner & a movie.. .but uhm. There's nothing in the theaters... save whatever this movie is LOL ..
has anyone seen it? Is it even going to be worth it?? everything else seems to be very not child appropriate :p what happened to all the kid movies sheesh :p

Visually stunning..a bit choppy because they had to get so much in from the books, and it's kinda formal? But if ce is watching Star Wars, this one is no problem at all. Some owls get kidnapped to do bad things, go to get help, and come back heroes. We're pretty protective and didn't find it a problem at all.

It's actually a pretty good movie. I wasn't expecting much but enjoyed it and the kids really liked it. My 8 year old son now wants to read the books.

thanks for the link :]

lol though i did chuckle @ this part being under the "negative elements"
Soren's baby sister coughs up her first owl "pellet," which is then defined as the fur and bones of the mice she's eaten.

hm. ok. LOL .. pretty sure ce understands how owls work.

Jeez, what's wrong with that? Owls have to eat. They don't eat hamburgers LOL

Plugged in is good about giving you information about everything that might be an issue so you're fully informed about the movie choice.

I do remember hearing lots of EWW GROSSS in the theater lol
