I played along with this little project last year and love looking back through my entries. Will you join me for 2010? Each day I'll start a thread, just post something you're thankful for (and watch how good it makes you feel!).

This project would make a great layout at the end of the month. I'll come up with a template for all who participate. :)

I'm thankful for a boyfriend that ignores my b****y moods... when I'm irritable, he just sits and nods and doesn't listen to a word I say when I'm complaining at him. Then he says "Okay, so what's REALLY wrong?" and we talk about the root of the issue, rather than my surface nagging about how loud he's eating, etc. I'm just thankful that he doesn't judge me for being moody, and that he just... listens, but doesn't listen to the mean things I try to not say, but sometimes slip out anyway.

Cool idea! I'm going to go day by day instead of general thankfulness... otherwise it will just be of my hubby and kiddo. :)

Nov 1 - I'm thankful that my laptop, which was dropped on cement 3 weeks ago, arrived fixed via FedEx and what could have been over $800 in repairs only turned out to be $200. After using the ol' PC, I won't take for granted what a sweet little laptop I do have.

Way to go Paula!!

I'm grateful that my husband returned safely from deployment, and that although he should be resting and taking it easy, his first thought is for the kids and I, and making sure we are happy.

Thankful for having had a wonderful 1 Nov - sunny weather, the lunch that I cooked turned out great, and I finally got to to the St. Mary's Column (http://redaktion.trier.de/praefectus/trier?tourist_en) over Trier. With all the trees in different colours it was an incredible sight of Trier from there.

I'm thankful for the amazing sister that I have, she's also our nanny and each day she comes to look after the kids so I can do things like housework, errands and just a little bit of a break!

I am thankful for a husband that has stood by my side for 26 years ... through thick and thin ... in sickness and in health ... in tight financial spots as well as better days ... supporting me in any educational crisis involving our children and standing right by my side as I chose to homeschool them for a better education.

I'm late, but I did do this yesterday - on FB and Twitter. I was having a crappy, crappy day - pretty much from beginning to end. But, somewhere in the middle, Ian and Rae wanted to play beauty shop and give me a haircut. They were being so cute.

So, my bit for yesterday was, "I'm grateful for kids who make me smile in spite of myself."
