I have a synchronized skating practice today, and our team is only allowed to be 16 skaters. I had 17 try out. This means I had to cut just 1 skater from the team. :(

I am so sad I have to do this, and this will break her heart. If you could all send me some courage vibes today, that I can do a good job of breaking the news to her, I'd appreciate it. I do not look forward to this at all. Sometimes being in charge has definite drawbacks. :thumbdown:

She cried. A lot. I thought she might. But I had no choice. I felt terrible though, still do.

I don't know if she'll stay as the alternate, I really hope she will! They don't know how important they are! They really need to know everyone's position, kwim?
