When you are making a brag book do you resize the elements and papers before you paste them? I want to make a book for my daughter for chrstimas and have never done them before so could use some pointers on making one. It'll be 4 x 6.

I make the entire brag book at 12x8 and then resize the page to 6x4 when I'm done. Saves a TON of time by not having to resize everything. :)

that makes it soooo much easier!! Seriously. I love the look of brag books but could never think of an easy way to do it and after trying this way it was so easy. Here is the cover of the book

so cute! awesome job

I use the resizing trick for altered trading cards because 2.5x3 is way too small to deal with

When you send your files to a printer(shutterfly, costco, etc) , do any of you get much clipping? I always have a lot cut off my 4x6 photos for some reason and not equally on all sides.

I never thought of that either. Would totally help with shadowing too!

I do sometimes..Walmart is the worst for that I think for me. I try and not put anything on the edges that I wouldn't mind losing a bit of

I will probably either print at home or print at Office Max. I did graduation announcements and they were awesome. They helped get it right on the page, made sure it wouldnt cut anything off and for 40 announcements I think I spent less then 20 dollars.
