Help me please!

My SIL is wanting to get PSE 9 and wanted some info about it.

Is it easy for a beginner to use? She will mainly use it to edit her photos.

Can you think of any basic photo editing tutorials for PSE photo editing that I can link her to?

In my opinion PSE takes an initial jump to learn, but once you learn the basics it is very easy and very powerful. I teach digital scrapbooking classes with pse here (http://digitalscrapbookingclasses.com). There is a free lesson there for downloading and installing the trial version, a free lesson on creating a scrapbooking page, and a 101 class that is super informative if she wants to scrap. I also came across this site (http://everydayelementsonline.com/) today which looks great for photo editing with pse, but I haven't really looked into any of it yet, so I can't tell you for sure how good it is.

PSE is pretty easy to use- I've not used 9, but I used to use 6 and it had a pretty easy learning curve. I know Lynda.com has video tutorials, but you have to get a membership for her. TDD has had some good tutorials on editing photos in the past.
