Black ops?

I remember a thread when final fantasy xiii came out... So is anyone here playing the new call of duty: black ops? Or have a dh who will be holed up playing nonstop? My dh, brother, sister and the rest of my friends and family are all enjoying it right now.... But I have to be the responsible adult who goes to bed so I can get up with the girls for school. Lol I'm up here in bed browsing on my iPod pouting because I can't play :(. I know if I try to play just a little I'll get sucked in.... Just what I need, something else to distract me from scrapping when I'm starting to get back into it.

Well, OH is supposed to be getting it for Christmas, but he is sitting moaning on for it now, only thing is I've ordered it for Christmas and it will be staying down my Nana's until then, so I'll constantly have to listen to him moan about it!!

My husband was in line at midnight-both the boys have had it on pre-order since July or so-I forgot to ask how long he stood, but he did say "at least it wasn't cold".

yup, my dh and ds preordered it in July too, lol! They waited in a line that wrapped all around the building at midnight and were up all night playing... for goodness sake! Dh is still crashed in bed but ds is up and ready to start his schoolwork. :blink:

Jordan is actually really excited for this one, but he's such a penny pincher he's willing to wait a while in hopes that the price drops. If he doesn't have it by Christmas, I'll get it for him as a present, lol.

lol, dh loves these games. Call of Duty is the only shooter game I play - dh has been trying to get me to play 'his' games forEVER now, and I only just started about a yr ago, but I'm hooked on CoD now too...

Both my big boys pre-ordered it, but I wouldn't let Wyatt go get it at midnight - he'll go straight there after school. Grant got all his homework done early this week so he could get it today. Since he is up at college, I won't get to monitor how much he plays it. Ugh.

Wouldn't it be funny if some of our family members were playing together and we didn't even know it? :)

That would be funny. I've tried the game but I can't manuver myself and I get mad. I did for awhile, but when my 10 year old started beating me... I was done!

My DS has been playing it non-stop since it got here. LOL But, we don't have a wii, we have Xbox 360.

Lol Jeff is giving me the puppy dog face because ALL his friends are playing it earlier on the ps3 and with Oj's birthday & party this weekend/next week we just don't have the extra cash so I get the sad puppy face until his next check which I feel will be a LONG 2 weeks LOL and so he's back to playing Modern Warefare until his next check. He sucked me into playing it too lol.

I took Wyatt to get it after school. The place was packed with teenage boys with their moms. LOL Most of them he knew from school. And yep, he's been playing it ever since.

Connor has been playing non-stop, but Zachary hasn't even broken the cellophane...he has had 2 a days this week for basketball and has been exhausted!
