View Full Version : Do these look too juvenile? or help?

I saw these at Pottery Barn and thought they looked cute. However they are at PB Teen.....

I was thinking of putting our last name over the couch (6 letters) and maybe two rectangular collage frames; one above and one below. Then again that might be too busy.

and here is the wall ..... It's kinda tricky because of the mantle being so close and having it's own thing going on....

The mantle is at a slight angle ... it's not all one wall.

I LOVE these & thought about doing "LOVE" in our bedroom. So, no, I don't think it's too kiddish! :) And, I think I'd do just the name.

Yeah, I think it'd be too much w/the horizontal frames too, w/the mantle so close!

I love those and would do the last name too! But, I think one frame would be nice, maybe below it?

Love that! I agree no additional frames, it would be too much and not enough white space!

Love love love it. I'd probably go with last name once I'm married (Jensen), but not really thinking I'd go with it with my maiden name (Schoenberger). Too cute!!!

I have our last name in wood letters across our fireplace... all 12 letters. :) My hubby is very proud of his last name, so that is why we use our last name.

I think the first initial of the last name with a square frame on either side would look nice.

Those are awesome! I'm going to be on the hunt for Australia versions now. I'd love a big 'E' for my new craft room :)

I think the last name is a good idea. If he doesn't like it, maybe family or love? or Together? or is that too long?

I'd go the photo route for your name...the PB letters are kinda big and might be too bulky on that wall. I love the photo namethough. I went to a craft fair not too long ago and picked up a few photos to make a friend a gift for Christmas. Her last name is Jones and it looks pretty neat! It's a conversation piece anyways so that's always good

Just our initial wouldn't be near enough, besides I have just that in our kitchen .. the wall is HUGE. Almost 6 foot across the straight part.

We are thinking instead of our last name to put FAMILY.

I think Family or Love would look great, those letters are super cool, and now I have ideas in my head of how to update our "picture" wall!! Thanks for sharing!
