View Full Version : I'm looking for an exercise program/routine.. help?

I'm looking for a like.. 6 week exercise program to follow. More like a schedule I guess. I'm good @ sticking with things for 2 months at a time LOL and then I shift it.. but anyway- I really want to buckle down and focus and finish toning up by january. It's a reasonable goal.. but I really need some direction/scheduling/something. Otherwise I just flitter off into space.

I've been sick for almost a month so I have some ground to catch up on.
Things I do include running (short distances for now. I haven't gone past 2 miles since I started running again), walking (long distances. like 6-8 miles), I have a stationary bike that I loath, I have some free weights.. I do yoga..

Just need some help organizing I guess. Any suggestions?? I don't dig exercise videos.. So those are mostly out (plus i live in an apartment on the 2nd floor.. and every work out video i've ever tried included way too much jumping. I don't think my neighbors would appreciate that).

I've got my eating under control now (I posted a while back asking for help there). I'm learning about timing proteins & carbs with my runs and cardio etc.. So that part is good.
