Any ideas about this Weirdness?

All of my PSE files all of a sudden have the icon of a Quicktime file instead of the PSE square. They often want to open up in a Quicktime picture viewer instead of PSE when I click on them, so I have to right click and choose 'open in PSE'.

The only thing I remember doing prior to the change is removing an old version of PSE (removed 5, I have 8).
It is super annoying. Any ideas of how to change it back??

I think you just need to change the default program for opening the file. If you right-click on one of the files, you should see an option to Open With and then choose whatever program you want to use (like PSE). Then I think there's a check box you can select to Always Open that type of file with that program.

It's been awhile since I've used Windows but I think that's how you do it.

That did it. Don't know how or when I changed my default, but I guess I had. I appreciate it!!
