I HAVE USED EVERYTHING I BOUGHT ON DSD!

Are you so impressed with me??? I even used ALL THREE kits in the Autumn bundle of Shawna & La's 365 Days with You; I totally could have checked that one off my list with just two, doncha think? But I am hard core like that.

Do you know what this means for Black Friday? It means I can shop to my heart's content. :) Guilt free.

Because clearly the 16 unused kits from this year are not weighing heavily on my conscience. I mean, I made a few mistakes. Surely my shopping mistakes shouldn't be held against me, right???

So how about you? Have you used the stuff you bought on DSD? I'll be happy to pat you on the back if you have. And if you haven't, I'm here to encourage you to use up that stuff so you can shop guilt free next weekend, just like me.

Kellie, Kellie, Kellie...

'tis much simpler to release yourself of the burden of actually using all the kits you buy. But all my pretty things are right there on my hard drive when I need to look at them :)

I didn't buy anything on DSD, but since the beginning of summer I have more than halfed my unused folder (this is for all stores for all the time I have been buying). So I am feeling pretty good. Need to continue to knock it down.

Oh boy, I need to play catch up!!! I have at least 8 from DSD and 50 from other purchases that I still haven't used! But I plan on buying more on Black Friday too! lol. I just wish I knew what the sale as going to be! :)

I never try to catch up. I use whatever I feel like using regardless when or why I bought it. Sometimes it's the same kit I've already used ten times, sometimes it's a kit I bought recently, sometimes it's a kit I had bought ages ago and it was waiting for its right moment. All in all I can say I don't have much guilt feelings there. Everything can be used come the right time. :-)

Still it's an impressive achievement, Kellie. Your Black Friday will be delightftul I'm sure. :-)

Well, I just bought 7 kits this week with my first ever sweet rewards coupon. I finished downloading a few minutes ago and am pooped. No Black Friday for me unless of course its such a sweet deal I'd be a fool to pass it up.:)

That's great! You prompted me to go look, and I have good news and bad news, LOL. The good news is that there are only 3 unused kits in my huge SSD folder. I expected a lot more! The bad news is that in my folder of recent purchases (last 3 months?) I have 7 unused. But I don't feel bad about it because I have plans for all 10 of those kits and really will use them. I still plan to shop on BF, assuming SSD does the sale it usually does. I limited my DSD shopping and mostly sat out SR (I bought 1 thing that I wanted to use right away) in preparation for it.

I have long ago stopped the guilt feeling. These are my collectibles! And hey, they are prettier and more useful than most of the stuff other people collect.

I'm at over 100 unused kits. What's that say about me??? I am ashamed of myself.

I only bought 4 things on DSD, and I've used two of 'em so far. That should get at least half a pat on the back. :p

I won't be BF shopping, though, so no need to release the guilt... unless you'd like to buy some pretties FOR me, Kel. That would, like, be negative guilt built in so you can shop BF + another time after THAT guiltfree.

I am doing this for your own good, K. I'll send you my WL shortly...

Dear LeeAndra, I see your siggie. Why would you ever need to shop?

In general, I am against waste. So if I own a kit and never use it, that feels wasteful to me. I finally had to dig deep and start asking myself, How is this kit going to make me feel when I open it up to use it? This is basically the reason I limit most of my shopping to SSD. SSD kits make me happy. There are a couple of other places I like, but a SSD kit is SO darn full of stuff that I rarely have to open another folder to find something I need for a kit. I appreciate that.

And also I read the Kisses from Katie blog, and I will never spend money the same again. She went to Africa after graduating from high school and discovered that she could send kids to school for like $200 a year. So now she lives there and does that, and I sit on my computer and collect scrapping kits. {ouch} Don't get me wrong, I'm still buying, even though I own PLENTY of kits that I'd love to reuse, so it's not like it has StoPPED my spending habits, but it's definitely helped me stick to my budget all year long.

Don't play the missionary card on me, Kellie. ;)

Yeah, yeah, people are more important than scrap stuff. I know that HERE *taps head*, but I don't know it HERE. *taps heart*
