The city was doing roadwork Thursday morning and accidentally cut a line of the cable/internet company's thus, I have had no internet since then. Joy. I also had no cable. Double joy. lol Everyone I know had theirs back by yesterday afternoon... I ended up having to call the company today and get them to tell me why mine wasn't back yet. Apparently even though I paid the bill Thursday they were showing as non-payment so I had to take my receipt up there to get it back on.

Anyhooo... I spent the past few days teaching myself to crochet (cause I don't have enough hobbies yet. - sarcasm) and making my Belly Pie this:

(not the best picture - it's an ear flap hat)
I still need to add the edging, and it'll have a flower on top and two tiny ones above the ropes.

Oh my goodness. You taught yourself how to crochet that hat in a couple of days and it looks that good. I'm impressed! I tried using those plastic knitting looms and ended up with a hat so small it barely fit a doll.

WEEEE, that looks awesome! Glad you got your internet back!
That's exactly what I'm doing right now... my scrapping mojo is gone and so I decided to try my hand at crocheting a hat for little dude and hoping my mojo comes back after this weekend. I'm a knitter and am thinking I'm a better knitter than crocheter, lol.

lol
I'm a knitter too.
John got me a few knitting books for my birthday last January and one of them had some basics to crocheting in it also so I used those, then got my little sister to look up the cutest hat pattern she could find and print it for me. However, I think I must be much faster at this than knitting though, I've never gotten this much done so quickly with knitting.

I also got this much done on the scarf I'm making my sister for Christmas, but the yarn is super bulky and the needles huge:

That's so awesome Trish! I crochet too - I've been picking it up like crazy in the last few days. My scrapping mojo is completely gone - I haven't scrapped in months, so I'm re-starting a few other hobbies.
