Okay, so I'm starting to think I'm insanely crazy. I'll puke, and then within 5 minutes I want to eat something.

Usually, I'm the type of person that when I'm sick, I don't want food for agggges afterwards, especially if it's what I just threw up (I haven't eaten fruit snacks since I was 8 or 9, because once I threw up after eating them).

So... I feel a bit insane that I throw up, and then 5 minutes later, I'm asking people if they want to make a quick run to Taco Bell. Is that normal, or am I just crazy and disgusting???

You're not going crazy.

I have 2 (girls) and 1 on the way (12wks). With each of my girls, I had morning sickness for the whole 9 months. I couldn't sneeze, cough, hold my breath, roll over etc without puking. I even puked right before I went into labour. If I could find something *cough* (or should that be puke?) that would stay down just a while, I could only have it 3 days in a row.. so, I so hear you. It took me a loooong time to discover what worked and what didn't.. I look back and call it the 'elimination diet when you aren't trying to loose weight'.

Have you tried smelling freshly cut lemon? This was a pure fluke when I discovered this - I was sitting in a restaurant and a waitress walked past. When they did I felt absolutely radiant and told my DH "What was that?! I want it NOW!". And found it was the lemon slices.

Some of the things I could kind of keep down... spring rolls, 1 particular brand of orange and mango (straight orange was too strong) juice; a particular brand of coffee flavoured milk (coffee imitation flavouring); rockmelon/cateloupe; KFC potato and gravy; potato chips and gravy...watermelon...

With the current one, I'm sooo lucky. I shouldn't complain, but instead of puking I'm sneezing, I kid you not. I still feel green..though I feel I'm coming to and end... my energy levels are very low, and I relate it to 'mono'/glandular fever - constantly sleepy. I'll lie down for 15 mins, then be ok for 30. driving me NUTS! Food-wise: spring rolls don't do it now.. it's more ginger cookies, red apples (green are too bitter), potato bake, chocolate iced donuts, brownies, m & m peanuts, couple of squares of chocolate, tomato and cheese on salada/graham crackers and I've just graduated onto yoghurt. I started the pregnancy sipping on ginger beer, but for the last 2 months my body doesn't like it, so I've resorted to orange juice and mango juice; coffee flavoured milk (again). I seem to have this thing for tomato sauce which is kind of freaky as my Grandfather had a thing for putting tomato sauce on everything. I'm finding it extremely hard to eat beef, However I have no probs with lamb. I've just started being able to eat fish again.

During the pregnancies with the two girls I soon learnt to listen to my body and eat/drink what it desires. I had to laugh the other week when the doctor told me to stop putting salt on my food. My reply was "Well first, I don't normally put salt on my food, and secondly, I can't stomach most things you would put salt on - and that includes Mc D's".

Sorry for my ramblings.. don't know if it was any help or not.. but know that there is someone out there who does know what you're going through. And know that you are not going crazy!

Totally normal...pregnancy puking is not the same as being sick puking lol

One time I ate half a bag of lays potato chips...felt sick, threw up then immediately finished off the bag lol

First of all... I'm SO sorry you're sick. I think pregnancy sickness is one of the worst things I ever experienced and I was sick for a LONG time with both my kids.

I once drank a whole shake,, threw it up, then went back and tried something else.

It sucks, but you're not crazy. You're pregnant. Well, guess they're kind of the same thing ;)

I'm 24 weeks now and had a rough first trimester with morning sickness. Most times all food sounded horrible, but sometimes I would get so hungry! I would eat, throw up, and then pretty quickly thereafter eat again. I needed nourishment!

I hope the sickies go away soon for you! No fun. And good luck with your pregnancy in general. It's a crazy and exciting time!

Another weird thing... I always puke at almost exactly 11:30 every night. Whether I've eaten or not, I puke.

Last night, I was eating cookies. I threw up, and then promptly returned to eating more cookies. What?!

The other night, my fiance asked me where I wanted to go to dinner, since I have cravings and he doesn't care where we go. I said "I want egg rolls. And chicken. And tacos. And maybe funnel cake." Funnel Cake?! Where the heck are we going to find funnel cake during non fair season?! Well, being a California boy, he googled and happened to find a Jack in the Box. It was a 35 minute drive, but I got everything I wanted in one stop- egg roll, chicken, tacos, funnel cake. Perfect. This is (one reason) why I love him.

After I had slept - whether it be normal sleep or a cat nap, I'd puke.
