Want to try a different punch recipes from the same ol' that I usually do... the pineapple juice with lemon/lime soda pop... and hopefully nothing "red"... lets just say that "grace" is not in my family genes... :)

Thanks!!

I made a combo which I absolutely love.

I make a sherbet punch drink with pink lemonade and rainbow sherbet. I usually only make one glass at a time but you could do a whole punch bowl of it I guess.

I also really love pineapple soda, orange juice and sprite mixed together. Its tropically and really good.

This is the one I make for the holidays. I make it in my crockpot and keep it warm all day. My dad and brother act as though I've moved mountains when I make this. It's on the tart side, so if you're looking for syrupy sweet, it's not this one.

I love this with the cherry jell-o, but since you don't want red, there are other options. We had this at our wedding and everyone loved it. You would have to divide the recipe down because it makes a boatload, but it is good.

3 lg. pkgs. Jello - cherry, lime, orange or your choice
9 c. boiling water

Mix and cool.

4 c. sugar
4 c. water

Boil and cool.

Mix these ingredients and add:

1 (16 oz.) real lemon
2 (46 oz.) cans pineapple juice

Freeze in 1/2 gallon milk cartons or any open mouth container/gallon milk jug and when ready to use cut entire top off.

2 hours before using remove from freezer and place in punch bowl to thaw. Add 1 large bottle ginger ale to each 1/2 gallon punch. Often I use an extra bottle to speed thawing. May be made several days ahead. Can be refrozen. Serves 50 to 60.

I have a couple...I'm not sure how the first one would taste in USA as the soft drink/sodas are corn syrup based, ours in Oz are sugar cane based... they taste very different... even Coke tastes different as they use a different recipe.

An Aussie one... most common beverage at Christmas - especially the Xmas BBQ for those hot summer nights.
2L (4 cups) lemonade (as in 7 up)
2L (4 cups) ginger ale (not ginger beer.. ginger beer is cloudy; ale is rusty orange in colour)
2L (4 cups) tropical fruit juice
1 or 2 punnets strawberries culled and halved (depends on size and how many you want)
1 or 2 passionfruit
tinned two fruits (peach and pear) or tinned fruit salad
ice cubes
few mint leaves sprinkled on top

Mix all the liquids together, and put as much fruit as you'd like..sprinkle with mint leaves.

Another one:
Mixed berry punch
1 teabag
1 cup boiling water
120g (0.3 pounds) raspberries
150g (0.3 pounds) blueberries
125g (0.3 pounds) strawberries, halved
1/4 cup mint leaves
750ml (3 cups) chilled sparkling apple cider
2 1/2 cups chilled lemonade (7up)

1. Place teabag in mug, cover with the boiling water; stand for 10 minutes. Squaeeze teabag over mug, discard teabag; cool the cool for 10 minutes.
2. Using a fork, crush raspberries in punch bowl; add blueberries, strawberries, mint and tea. Stir to combine, cover; refrigerate for 1 hour. Stir cider and lemonade into punmch just before serving; sprinkle with extra mint leaves, if desired.

(Australian Women's Weekly Christmas and Holiday Entertaining - recipes for the festive season and beyond).

Please note due to the conversions, I've rounded it.

I've just updated the recipe quantities.. I thought I had included the imperial amounts.. so I'm sorry about that. It's pretty much 'make to your desired taste'. I'm hoping I've used the correct conversions that are used when shopping. It's been a while since I've lived in USA.. or the northern hemisphere for that matter. Decimal fractions just don't look right when using imperial measurements...
1 Aussie cup = 250ml = 8.5 USA liquid oz roughly.
4 Aussie cups = 1L (litre/liter).
250g(grams) = USA 0.5lbs or 8.8ounces

I hope this helps.:)

P.S. For those who are curious...
1ml (millilitre) = 1g (gram)
1000g = 1kg.
1000ml = 1L.
4 x 250g = 1kg (kilogram)
It's based on a base 10 system.

Oh, poo - my two favorite punch recipes are both pink. You could do a mock champagne punch - 1 can white grape juice concentrate to 2 liters ginger ale.
