my dermatologist always recommended cetaphil soaps and lotions. dh swears by aquaphor of cuts and cracks and dry elbows and weird rashes.

I recently got some Avon Moisture Therapy Intensive and I think it's the best I've tried for dry skin.

I have very bad eczema on my hands, so they get dry to the point of cracking if I don't use a lot of lotion. At night I use Aquaphor, and that makes the biggest difference. During the day I need to use something that soaks in quickly, and most of those don't touch my problem. Curel Itch Defense (http://www.curel.com/products/itch-defense.aspx) is my current daytime favorite. I have to use it a few times a day, but it definitely helps.

If you wash your hands often, you may want to check out a hospital supply place(or ask the nurses at yor doctor's office or at a pharmacy). I know that when I worked in a lab, we used to have special lotion just for that purpose.

I've been using Johnson's 24 Hour Body Wash (http://www.drugstore.com/qxp91212/johnsons/body_wash_24_hour_moistuizing.htm) as well as the 24 Hour Lotion (http://www.drugstore.com/qxp83123/johnsons/24_hour_lotion.htm) for the past few years and my skin feels amazing, even in the dead of winter. I love it and it's so inexpensive compared to some other moisturizers. Also, drinking lots of water really helps me, too. I don't always remember to do that this time of year like I do in the summer, but it does make a huge difference.

I use Gold Bond too...love it! Aside from being VERY hydrating, it's not greasy, which is a big plus for me.

I agree with the Aquaphor, but also only use it at night - it just rubs off on everything. During the day, the one I have found that works the best for me is Eucerin Calming Creme. My skin cracks fairly easily with the cold weather, and the calming creme is the only one that I can put on without it irritating my skin.

Walmart (and other stores) sells two jars, packaged together, of Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E cream. It's super cheap, and really good! I used it to help with my itchy, stretching belly when I was preggo, and I use it on my extremely dry legs. It's thick and nice!

This Total Comfort Body Creme (http://shop.meetmark.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=39495&from=search&find_spec=fair%20trade&camp=201101&dir_delivery=1&rep_delivery=1) from mark. is $14, and is my go-to for dry skin.
And this Big Fix 15-in-1 balm (http://shop.meetmark.com/shop/product.aspx?pf_id=39497&from=search&find_spec=fair%20trade&camp=201101&dir_delivery=1&rep_delivery=1) is great for smoothing on cracks, cuticles, elbows, feet.... I use it on a lot of stuff. It's $10.00.
If you spend more than $35, you get free shipping. Right now, also, if you spend $18 or more you get a free lip gloss...

I may have to give that Itch Defense a try. I'm embarrassed to say that I've had a itchy rash on my lower legs for months and months now. If I don't scratch, it goes away, but that's very hard to do so it keeps moving around my legs. I've been to an allergist and decided it's not an allergy. I need to go to a dermatologist next.

Mine are just normal dry, but I hate any lotions that make my hands feel greasy. I lurve my Bath & Body Works lotions though.

Bath Body Works Body Cream has always worked best for me and I have eczema.
Good ol' Aveeno is my favorite! Sean's hands were getting really red and cracked at the beginning of the winter season this year. We just have him put lotion on a couple times a day, and they have completely healed. It's thick and creamy. I love it.

You might want to check the travel/sample size aisle...I know Gold Bold has a 99cent sample size...not sure on the others...but it would be a good way for you to try them out and see what you like :)
