OK... so pretty proud of myself. Just went through and only have $40.40 in my cart!! If I get it all depends on how much I get in Christmas money. I started at over $100, and knew that was a little bit unreasonable... I mean HELLO. I make less than $500 a month and still have bills to pay next month and post-christmas catching up and an oil change and and and and....
So I narrowed it down to $50. But that still was unreasonable. I went through each and everything. Removed 1 kit I already owned (apparently I loved it so much I was gonna buy it again!), and removed anything I didn't see me using right away.
For example, I had about 15,000 boy kits in my cart. First off, I don't even know if we're having a boy or a girl. Second off, it will be a BABY. Not a "let's go play in the dirt when you're a month old and take photos so I can scrap them..." a BABY. So. That nixed most toddler-and-older kits (except two I can't live without, but may already have some photos for).
I had a few in there I loved the THEME of, but realized I wouldn't use the colour palette most likely, so nixed those to, and finally got it down to $27 even.

That is a good pointer. I checked my 'storage.' Whew. Now I've whittled it down until I *only* have $50.25 in the cart. There are a couple kits that I loved so much, I was going to buy them again. (I have that same issue with books.) I was also glad that I checked because I thought I had the Village Market kit in my hoard...
