Just Dance for the Wii, is it good?

I got some GC money left for Target and I started to get Just Dance today, but I thought I'd see what you girls had to say about it. It would probably just be me playing it and maybe Keira. She doesn't mess with the wii very often.

And which one is better the first one or the second.

my kids got it for XMAS...the 2nd one...OMG it is a total workout but so much fun...we already bought 3 more songs to add to the list...check out the video I posted on FB :)

I think both are good. The interface of Just Dance 2 is a bit more complicated/busy but it has the option of buying more songs using Wii points (about $3 a song). Also has some other options like duets.

Maybe look over the song lists and see which songs are more appealing to you?

just dance for kids is more my speed LOL

I got the first dance pad with the wii with every intention on using it ... had it out twice i think ... it has been in the corner ever since ...

We got Just Dance Kids and we all love it!! I want the other versions now too. And I agree - it's quite a workout.

My girls loved JD1 so much we bought the second for Christmas. Not been in enough to try it out much though.

We only have the second one, and the kids one. I like both that we have (the second one is good!). I honestly haven't played, but I know everyone else, from 10 years old to 50 years old have really enjoyed the game!

I just have to say that my 3 year old played this game this last weekend and MY grandma played it too and we all had a blast! It is a lot of fun!:)

Do you have to have the dance pad to play these games??
We got a Wii for Christmas and I really want the Micheal Jackson and the Just Dance games!!! The MJ one is on sale this week for $29 at KMart!!

nope just the wii remote...

I checked the first just dance game out of the library and loved it. I worked up a sweat and had fun doing it (unlike active which is a great workout for me but I can't say I enjoy it near as much). Hoping to get Just Dance 2 at some point.

OMG!!! Love it!!! I bought both b/c TRU had BYGH. I like the songs from the 1st one better. But the 2nd one has a neat option for "sweat workout."
